BOCCONI BUILDING
The new Bocconi University building, situated between Viale Bligny and Via Roentgen in Milan, arises  in 2008 from a project created by the Irish based Grafton Architects and in particular, from Shelley McNamara and Yvonne Farfell. Fascinated by its serious aesthetic, monumental dimensions and its hard shapes, I decide to photograph the structure that I find in total contrast to the rest of the neighboring architecture. My work concentrates on architectural details with shots from below that accentuate this building’s stateliness. 

Il nuovo edificio dell’Università Bocconi, situato a Milano tra Viale Bligny e Via Roentgen, nasce nel 2008 dal progetto degli irlandesi Grafton Architects e in particolare di Shelley McNamara e Yvonne Farfell. Affascinato dalla sua estetica seriosa, dalle dimensioni monumentali e dalle sue forme dure, decido di fotografare questo complesso che trovo in totale contrasto con l’architettura del quartiere. Il mio lavoro si concentra su dettagli architettonici, con riprese dal basso per accentuare l’imponenza di questa costruzione.
